I showed a different page of Francesco’s pencils to a neighbor, who is a die-hard fan of Star Wars, and is huge into superpower genre. His immediate comment was, “Why is this guy not popular yet?” I told him, honestly, I don’t know, and maybe he is popular in his hometown Italy. Francesco Conte Thinking out loud, fundamentally, I think there’s something wrong in the way talent is judged and filtered. This should not happen especially in this social media era. Anyways ....! SIMPLE LOGIC: If he can do this page like this end-to-end with hand. And, rise to all the challenges I threw at him so far, he can do any damn art stuff out there, isn’t it?
